Agree with va9rant as I have W7 Beta running better than any version of Vista and I had pre-releases of Vista and never did get drivers for my mp3 players or printers or scanners. My Acer Aspire Vista laptop loaded with apps now takes 4:30 minutes to open i.e. [Messenger ready to use]. This time was after dropping 2 updates and keeping it clean and clear. Who wants to wait this long with a laptop and trying to close it quickly is impossible as sleep function is so faulty it almost cooked my battery.
So I am now seriously ready to go W7 with this as on my desktop it is so quick it is not an issue anymore. And W7 has drivers already which have got what I want functioning, so I guess they did learn something the hard way as they nearly lost me.
Anybody like me from Canada with Rogers as browser as unable to use Rogers/Yahoo as not supported and they tell me to stop living on the edge and go back to W6 but Microsoft won't allow me to back as too many updates. Also W7 won't stay connected on most sites and if I use MSN or live no problem. Are they playing games with Yahoo? So I am forced to use live.

really?! now that is something I'm not happy to look forward to. They should just cancel the release of SP2 update and offer Windows 7 as a free upgrade to Vista. Bunch of security updates, huh. Get Firefox!!!

Man, for a pre-beta build, it certainly speeds things up. Boot, login, startup, and program launches are all quite a bit faster. I can't wait to get the final build of this.
