i sure love this game some good levels too, for Dreamscene so crap videos so i used some of mine from animation movies like Final fantasy and Ice Age and guys this looks really good, try it and see the diffrence.

I had the same problem running it as Brendan and Gaylord Folker. Got around it by right clicking on it and running it as adminstrator. Does anyone know of any way around this?

Works great for me, am running vista ultimate on a dual core laptop with a 128mb intel graphics, and not a slowdown in sight.
Nice little addition to the windows packaged games, shame they didn’t release it for all versions thought, i think going in these dirwections have a negative rather than positive effect on the business. I mean it’s not as if the masses are going to start upgradng to the ultiamte version for $60 or whatever it is just to get access to a few extra games and nick nacks!!

I love Tinker! Its a great little game!! It’s perfect for the lunchtime break at the desk!! Sure its not truly of “Ultimate” value and yes Microsoft missed the boat completely on the Ultimate sku but thats life and you move on!

Machiel – I tried to download the zip file for all your levels but I couldn’t as a right click/save as would only try saving the html itself (??) while left clicking on the link took me off to a whole ‘nother web site?? I could download each of the single levels though.

This is a very fun game and works your brain to a good degree sometimes. It is definitely not a huge landscape, blow things up, FPS game. It is a Windows game. Its sort of like Minesweeper in that you have to negotiate around obstacles to get to the finish – in this case a spinning circle with candy-cane red and white.

You also have to watch you don;t use all of the robot’s energy or it stops before you are done and you have to start over on the level.

You only get so many moves per level and you must you them efficiently to complete the level and get to the disc.

Hmmm.. havent noticed any bugs myself. It runs like a dream.
Then again, I use a quadcore and dual sli, no that’s not just for running Vista =), but that really helps.

For the persons calling tinker “Retarded” I have made some custom levels to up the ante.
Check em out. Beeing backward is not a prerequisite for these levels, but haveing a certain autistic affinity might help. And I am referring to the autobots there, not autism.

It looks like a nice game
but yah it wont work for me either… when i try to run the tinker nothing happens and my cpu core1 raised to 100% . i checkd the task manager and the lsass.exe consume that 50% of the CPU load. Is their a bug in this game? and how to fix this? (”, )

Looks alright, doesn’t justify buying Ultimate (if all you’re after is the extras). :/ But, they’re making progress :)
