It's now a long time the drivers are buggy and eating memory like ambrosia. People with 1986 chipset are the cheap customers for this guys? Every day a new driver for 1988 customers, nothing for 1986. Next time I will look for a Realtek sound chip. This drivers are refreshed quite on regular basis.
