It would appear Microsoft has moved / deleted the file, in the link, and its no longer availble. And they've also come out with a newer version. This is a problem, because i cannot log onto my live, 8.5 anymore. I wount let me log in, without saying there's a newer version :

"Do you wish to install the newer version?"

"Yes" - It downloads, unpacks, and then says it can't be installed on my WinXP x64.
"No" - The download box disappears, and i get moved back to the log in screen, and can start over. -> Log in ?

How do i either get it to quit looking for updates, or how do i get the newer version installed ?
I'd prefer the ladder one, of course. Thanks !

I have been a loyal fan and user of xp 64 bit since it first came out. I think it is faster and runs programs more efficiently than the regular 32 bit. Now here to find out that we not only loose more support from the manufacturing companies, but now microsoft. I have begun to hate the road microsoft has chosen.
